Man. I only had two and a half, three hours of sleep last night. I was up re-polishing my teaching portfolio for an interview I had this morning. Which went very well, by the way. I have to be up at 4:15 tomorrow morning to open at Starbucks.
This is my routine before going to bed:
+ Set alarm on phone for 4:15 a.m. + Set alarm on phone for 4:22 a.m. + Slide phone as far away from me as possible on my nightstand. + Set alarm on alarm clock for 4:25 a.m. + Pray to God that three alarms provide enough of a security blanket to ensure I wake up.
My phone stinks so it's not uncommon for me to turn off my alarm without even waking up (if I so much as tap the little button on the side of the phone, my alarm turns off, not snoozes).
Nothing worse than waking up and realizing you've slept in and are now late.
Nothing better than coming home after work and taking a delicious nap.
